A WRAS Approved DZR ball valve, offered in screwed BSPP threads.

This full bore ball valve features a DZR Brass body, BSPP threaded ends, PTFE seats, EPDM seals, chrome plated DZR Brass ball and DZR Brass anti-blow out stem. Green PVC coated Steel lever.

When using brass in domestic water supply application, we recommend using DZR Brass. DZR stands for Dezincification Resistant, it is an alloy of copper and zinc, designed to resist corrosion.

DZR Brass has all the strength of normal brass that other comparrable alloys such as bronze lack, whilst having the added benefit of corrosion resistance to the dezincification.
